![]() ![]() It's super distracting so I have turned the haptics off for now. My biggest issue is the haptics distortion. Before it was completely silent and I just felt it, now it's the opposite. Literally 1 day later now there's barely any haptics at all and it's just a high pitched rattling that I can hear. Even just moving my head fast can make the noise. With Hypersense on, I always hear a bit of static, and when the actual vibrations are happening or if I even just tap the side of the headphone cup, it makes a high pitched sound like something is rattling. Probably returning these if the haptics stay borked. Makes a weird "train whistle" sound every time the haptics engine engages. However, the haptic engine isn't working right. When Haptic Intensity is on it makes a electronic screech when it activates. Haptics sometimes causing distorted sounds when switching haptic modes and you need to restart the headset Got the Kraken V3 Pro and had Issues with the haptic making electronic screeching sounds When haptic feedback is enabled there is a buzzing sound whenever the haptic feedback engages Got my kraken v3 pro yestarday and after about an hour of listening i could hear this buzzing noise when the haptics were turned on, almost like they were vibrating on metal Here's some threads and comments I collected regarding the electronic interference/screeching (these are just a couple of threads/comments, I'm sure there are more): To me it's unacceptable for a somewhat premium headet. What bothers me a lot is that this issue is being reported for a pretty long time and Razer is still selling the headset. This is something Razer has to look into. The screeching/interference could be caused by the actuators though. I know it's not the actuators because sometimes Hypersense works fine without producing the screeching noise. The erronous sound you are hearing is not the haptic actuators moving, it's some sort of electronic interference. It won't always occur but when it occurs, the only way to make it go away is turning the headset off/on again. I've recorded this electronic screeching with an external mic and here's how it sounds: Pretty often when Hypersense (haptics) is enabled, an electronic screeching occurs in the sound. I recently bought a Razer Kraken V3 Pro and there's two issues that made me return it: You can do so by simply clicking flair under your link!
